Disney’s Video Platform Expands to Android TV, Gives Away Monsters, Inc To Celebrate

Disney has been at the forefront of technology recently, from Magic Bands to Disney Research. However, one additional thing they’ve been good at is Disney Movies Anywhere, their video platform allowing users to watch Disney movies on any device while going through third-party video services like iTunes and Google Play.

Yesterday they announced they will be publishing an app for Android TV which will allow users to play any Disney movies they accumulate.

This announcement is just in time for some of their big releases. Avengers: Age of Ultron has just been released, and Disney’s live action version of Cinderella will be available on the 15th, the same day their Android TV app.
