The Beggar’s Ride Gives Beggars Magical Powers

When an old beggar finds a mask, he is thrust into a grand adventure. That mask is magical, powerful enough to alter the nearby environment. Throughout this journey, the mystery of the protagonist slowly unravels to reveal the man’s true identity.

It was destined for a hero, a champion, a saviour, but the old man was just a beggar.

This platformer uses the mechanic of the mask as an interesting way to solve puzzles. The mask changes the environment, allowing scattered blocks to become stairs, or cause it to rain. Being granted these god-like powers can enable some creative gameplay, and the game’s high ratings suggest that the game is in fact a lot of fun.

The Beggar’s Ride is $3.99 on Google Play.
