Tellybean Gets Featured on Sony TVs

Tellybean is slowly gaining popularity as a great TV video chatting app. Following winning the best Smart TV app from Philips, they entered into a partnership to come pre-installed on all Philips Android TVs.

Now they’ve been working to take their video chatting service to Sony’s 4K television sets. CEO of Tellybean Cami Hongell has said,

We are really excited about the cooperation with Sony Electronics. The Sony team has also been a great sounding board for us and has helped us refine and improve our service in the past few months.

This will probably mean Tellybean will appear as a featured app on Sony TVs, although it may also include becoming pre-installed on these TVs. Either way, it’s a great success for Tellybean, and getting more users to this service will provide plenty of benefit as well. Video chats are great, and being able to do them with your family makes it more valuable.

What’s next for Tellybean? An independent phone app is one upcoming feature.

To complement our web app for computers, we are currently working on a first version of a mobile app that will allow users to call a TV when they are travelling
