Xiaomi Mi Box Price Revealed Maybe Maybe Not

A Reddit user by the username of /u/koshergoy posted a picture of what appears to be a retail package for the Mi Box, he stated the source is a Media Kit prepared by Xiaomi’s Beijing based advertising agency so that means it could be seeing the light of day soon and we may have a new box at the Nexus Player’s price or even lower depending on how you look at the image below.

So as you can see it’s a bit of a guess if the translation went bad or they’re pushing a lot of free services included with your purchase. My guts telling me it’s free services included just like the Chromecast pushed free trials over the past 3 years. So I still believe the price will sit around $99 max as that is their key market and Xiaomi is known for the best prices on good hardware. If anything else develops from this story an update will be posted here.

What I am wondering is –where– they are planning to initially sell from, Amazon? BB? Their own web store?

    • Probably Amazon, maybe the Google Store.

It will be avaliable in amazon only if amazon video is avaliable for android tv.

I really hope they make it before this box arrives.
