Cradle Now Out On GeForce NOW

Another week another game being released on the GeForce Now platform. Last week we had 2 unique and exciting titles that you can read about here, this week we only have 1 but it’s again stepping outside the box by not including guns or swords play but instead it gives you A surreal science-fiction game world with flying buses, robots, clever puzzles, and interesting characters – all backed by an original, soothing soundtrack and it goes by the name of Cradle.

PLOT

This adventure game begins with you awakening in a yurt in the midst of the Mongolian desert. Your only companion is a mechanical girl in need of repair. Your initial explorations will revolve around finding materials she needs, leading to clues about deeper mysteries the land is hiding that you’ll feel compelled to uncover. You can go anywhere you wish, pick up just about any object you see, and read anything with text on it – from diaries to discarded food containers. While your environment is hauntingly beautiful, and you can explore it all at your own pace, don’t let this fool you: there are some sinister, dark secrets waiting to be discovered here that will offer for some memorable, chilling, and thought-provoking moments. The game combines narrative elements found in many works from popular Russian science fiction writers (Andrey Platonov, Vladimir Sorokin, the Strugatsky brothers) and explores themes of trans-humanism, emotion, and the unintended consequences of scientific and technical progress.
