FOX Sports GO FAQ reveals Google Cast support is coming later this summer

FOX Sports GO is all about you being able to watch sports while you’re mobile, but there are definitely times when you’re not moving around. Rather, you’re in your house and you want to watch the game on your 50-inch TV rather than your 5-inch phone. It would be great to have an easy way to push content to your TV so you can watch the game in luxury.

According to the FAQ for the app, cast support is coming “later this summer”. This is good news for users, and it should make the app more compelling. Summer officially ends September 22nd, assuming they’re referring to summer in North America, so we should expect this update to happen within the next month.

FOX Sports GO is free to download on Google Play, although it participates in the TV Everywhere platform. This means you have to sign in to your cable provider in order to access content.
