Mystery Case Solver “Virginia” Comes To GeForce Now

In a bit of a unforscene shocker NVIDIA has broken the streak of every Tuesday and decided Sunday is the day for the latest SHIELD exclusive game titled “Virginia”. Virginia is a mystery game that tasks you with solving a missing child case, and it was inspired by the shows such as “Twin Peaks,” “X-Files” or “True Detective”.

In this single-player first-person thriller you play as FBI Agent Anne Tarver who has been tasked with investigating the disappearance of a young boy, Lucas Fairfax. The location is set in a small town in idyllic Burgess County, VA, called Kingdom. Now this while being a single player game isn’t a solo job for one agent. As with all great mysteries a detective needs a partner. Maria Halperin, a seasoned bureau veteran is your partner in crime.

With its unique art style and cinematic editing it’s presentation is that of classic dramas and it pays homages to the shows I listed at the beginning over time. As for the soundtrack it’s an original score done by composer Lyndon Holland, which was recorded live by the Philharmonic Orchestra.

Like any good mystery it’s no walk in the park and it’s not a simple 5 minute case. The secluded town of Kingdom is not used to visitors and uninvited scrutiny. As you question the town’s considerable cast of strange, unique and shady characters you’ll uncover hidden agendas, negotiate competing interests and witness the bizarre. Each decision made not only affects the case but the town and the people in it as well.

Coming in at only $9.99 on the GeForce Now store. Your purchase includes unlimited streaming rights on SHIELD, and a digital download code for Steam.
