Google Play Movies comes to Egypt, Qatar, and more Middle Eastern nations

Google Play Movies, Google’s service for movies and TV shows, is a simple service that integrates nicely with your account. On Android TV, it’s easy to search for shows and movies and watch them. Users can now watch UHD movies and stream trailers in the Live Channels app.

Now more users are able to start watching due to georestrictions being lifted in new countries, most in the Middle East.

  • Bahrain
  • Egypt
  • Jordan
  • Kuwait
  • Lebanon
  • Oman
  • Qatar
  • Saudi Arabia
  • United Arab Emirates
  • Vietnam

If you live in one of these countries, you should gain access by opening up the Google Play Store and accepting new terms and conditions. Then you can browse and rent movies using the local currency.
