[Deal] Many Games on Sale on Google Play

Google seems to be offering a variety of games on sale on Google Play, from small discounts to large. Below is a compiled list of games that support Android TV.

This War of Mine

This War Of Mine
This War of Mine is a survival game that takes place in a warzone, where you try to stay alive along with your neighbors and family. It’s inspired by the Siege of Sarejevo in the 1990s. You can read an interview with the developers, 11 bit studios, we did a few weeks ago.

It’s $4.49 on Google Play.

Star Wars Pinball 3

Have you seen The Force Awakens? Star Wars is back in our culture in a pretty big way and that includes branded games like pinball.

The game is $0.10 on Google Play.

Goat Simulator Series

Goat Simulator is one of the more popular games of the simulator genre. The premise is that you play as a goat and get involved in a bunch of hi-jinks in part due to a poor physics engine. It’s a weird game, and its spin-offs get weirder. There is Goat Simulator GoatZ, a parody of the PC game DayZ. There’s zombies.

The other spin-off is Goat Simulator MMO Simulator, a game that simulates massive multiplayer online games. Unlike a true MMO, there is no true online play, the game tries to make you feel like you’re playing with other people. You can pick different classes and level up like a traditional role-playing game (RPG).

Goat Simulator, Goat Simulator GoatZ, and Goat Simulator MMO Simulator are all $0.99 on Google Play.

Minecraft: Story Mode

Minecraft is a popular game for being a sandbox, but there’s also a version that features a story you can play through.

Minecraft: Story Mode is $0.10 on Google Play.

Rayman Fiesta Run

Rayman is a spunky duck-like character from Ubisoft. Although he originally made his debut with platformer games on consoles, he has since branched out to mobile games while keeping a high-quality feel. Rayman Fiesta Run is $0.25 on Google Play.

Riptide GP2

Riptide GP2, from Vector Unit, is a high-quality water racing game that rivals many traditional console games. You ride through a series of beautiful environments and try to go faster than your opponents. It’s $0.49 on Google Play.

Leo’s Fortune

What happens when you wake up to find your fortune missing? You embark on a journey through many lands in search of family members you suspect may have done it. I’ve played it myself and really enjoyed it. Leo, a fluffy ball, has unique properties you don’t find in many other platformers. I’ve gone back through levels many times just to get all the achievements. Leo’s Fortune is $0.99 on Google Play.

Anomaly 2

Anomaly 2 is another game from 11 bit studios. It’s a real-time strategy (RTS) game set in the future, following an alien invasion. It’s $0.99 on Google Play.

Castle of Illusion

Disney published this title. It is a revamp of the original from the Sega Genesis, where Mickey has to save Minnie from an evil witch. It’s $0.99 on Google Play. There’s no trailer on Google Play, so I found an extended video from the PS3 version.

Joe Danger

Joe is a daredevil, risking life every day to entertain the crowd with his crazy stunts. Joe Danger is $0.99 on Google Play.

Dark Echo

This is a haunting game where you are in darkness. How do you get around? You need to use sound as it bounces off obstacles. Dark Echo is $0.49 on Google Play.

Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour

This is a high quality FPS with support for Android TV that includes some online play. Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour is $0.99 on Google Play.

The National Basketball Association works with EA Sports to give anyone the feel of playing basketball without spending time practicing. NBA Jam is $0.10 on Google Play.
