Swedish Network TV4 Play Now on TVs

In Sweden, the TV channel TV4 has been producing a variety of content: news, sports, and entertainment. Although this has been accessible to Android phones and Chromecasts for a while, it has been updated to work on Android TVs as well.

The app uses the Leanback interface, showing clips of the channel’s various programs. For premium users, you can even watch live streams and sports. If you are not a premium user, you can take advantage of an offer for a free week of the service.

It is available to download on Google Play, although both the Play Store listing and the app itself are in Swedish. It shouldn’t be difficult to navigate through the app, but if you don’t speak it you may find it difficult to enjoy the content.

Regardless of the language barrier, it’s another example of a network expanding their service and getting more users.
