PACKT Books Holds “Android Week” With Major Discounts

PACKT Publishing is an ebook publisher which has a number of books for people to learn programming. They recently held a poll to their users: which mobile OS do they use? iOS or Android. After tallying the results on their website, Twitter, and eBook consumers, the winner was clearly Android. To celebrate, PACKT is holding “Android Week”.

If you have wanted to get into Android development but didn’t know where to start, you can start right now. This week is being celebrated by large discounts on their Android development books. Whether you want to develop games with OpenCV or Unity, or develop apps for wearable devices, or perhaps dust off your old app with a material refresh, there’s a book suited for you.

They’re also giving away a free ebook every day. Right now the book is about the Android NDK (Native Development Kit). You’ll need to check back every day to see what’s new.

The deals will end in a couple days, so make sure you claim your books before March 28th.
