2015 Sony Bravia Android TVs Receive Marshmallow

Shockingly better late than never Sony has decided to give updates to Sony Bravia owners for the Holidays. Reported originally 11 months ago the update is now hitting owners TVs. So lets go over what changed and what’s new.

In some screens such as HOME, the screen design or usability is updated and you can easily use.

  • New design concept is introduced to screen design such as background image


HOME menu

  • The same app icon is not displayed on both Featured apps and Apps at the same time(Seen below)
  • Inputs have been moved to the bottom of the screen

  • The volume bar has been revised as seen below.
  • Adoptable Storage support and genre program guide.

  • Finally a revised help menu that appears to be in the form of a leanback app
