Have a Chromecast Ultra? Get a Free Movie Download

Google is promoting their new Chromecast Ultra, a Chromecast that supports ultra high-definition and HDR videos when connected to a support display. As part of their marketing, Google wants to provide content for users to watch. When you activate your device using the Google Home app, you’ll soon receive an offer to get a free movie download from Google Play Movies.

As a note, this will only apply to a subset of movies, not the entire listing. These choices may coincide with the new UHD movies debuting on Google Play, which we noted recently.

The offer is valid for anyone who activates a Chromecast Ultra before the end of the year, and it can be redeemed until the end of April.
