Search for Your New Home with Apartment Guide

Are you looking for a new apartment? This can be an arduous process with numerous choices, even within the same city. If you’re moving with others, then everyone will want a say in the matter. This makes Apartment Guide for Android TV an interesting choice that, while not the most efficient, makes it easy to browse with the entire family.

You can start by searching for a particular city where you want to live. Not all cities are supported, but it works with the major ones in the US. Once you select the city, you can browse different apartment complexes, with each in a different card.

When you select an apartment, you get a brief description of the location along with its amenities, estimated prices, and options to see more graphics.

Photographs of rooms can be displayed, along with photos of the roof and other photos that one can see.

Floor plans are also visible in some apartments, though not in all of them, and these are a bit more useful by giving you a good look at what your apartment may actually look like.

If you have an Apartments Guide account, you can mark them as your favorite so you can review them later.

Overall, this is a great first way for people to look up places. While it may be a bit limited in locations, it is a good example of how some non-obvious Android TV apps can create useful experiences that take advantage of the form factor.

The app is free to download on Google Play.
