New Lollipop Build for Nexus Player Improves Security

After Stagefright last month, Google promised to change their update schedule and provide monthly security updates akin to Microsoft’s “Patch Tuesday”.

Google recently released a new build for the Nexus Player, LMY48N. You can download and flash the image yourself, or wait for the OTA which should come in a few days.

What’s new exactly? You can see the overall change log on Android Police, though the device-specific change log is insignificant.
