TVs, like phones, are getting bigger today. Speaking from personal history, my family slowly moved from 24 to 32 to 40 inches. Although the United States might have an obsession with large things, Sony India says 32-inch TVs are still the most popular there, accounting for 45-50% of TVs sold in the country. This contrasts with smart TVs today, which primarily can only be found in 40 inches or higher.
This has led Sony India to announce a new 32-inch Android TV will be coming to the market, probably next quarter.
