DisneyLife Streaming Service Launches in UK

DisneyLife Toy Story

Disney is a large company with a lot of different types of media. They’ve moved beyond just producing cartoons and movies to ebooks, music, and games. With all of this content, buying everything outright can be very expensive. DisneyLife is a new subscription service which gives up to six people access to all of these kinds of content for a single price, and it even works on Android TV.

The caveat is that the service is only available to consumers in the UK right now. Expansion to other European countries will come afterwards. The price is £9.99 per month, but the first month is free.

Each month users will be allowed to download and play a free game in addition to streaming content. If you’re planning on traveling, you can mark certain content to be accessible offline for thirty days. As Disney markets a lot of content to children, parental controls here are set up to restrict usage based on the day and time so they still go outside.
