Google I/O: May 18-20

Google I/O 2016

Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai has announced the dates for Google I/O 2016, their huge annual developer’s conference. The news came in a tweet, so there isn’t any more information to announce right now.

In a deviation from Google I/O in the past, it will not be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco but rather the outdoor Shoreline Ampitheatre in Mountain View, the same city that Google is headquartered.

The I/O event site is not available yet, but it should soon be available for developers to register and learn more about the themes of the event. There will likely be focus on Android TV and Chromecast among the rest of Google’s software platforms.
