Google Fiber TV Boxes Gain Cast Capabilities

Subscribers to the Google Fiber TV and Internet service in the U.S. will soon be able to connect their smartphones and tablets to their TV boxes with Google Cast support just like Chromecast and all Android TVs.

As seen in the above gif it’s that simple to push from your device to the big screen all powered by your friendly neighborhood Google and its Fiber service, no additional equipment or setup is needed. Question is when is it coming out, Google’s got an official statement about that.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll start rolling out Google Cast on Fiber TV to all our TV subscribers. You can learn more at our help center. Get ready for more season premieres, movie screenings, karaoke nights and more—all on your big screen.
