Viki Globalizes Asian TV Shows & Movies

Viki is a service that allows users to watch TV shows from Korea, China, Japan, and several other Asian countries. With subtitles in many common languages, it’s easy for anyone to dive in and understand what’s going on. Genres range from a span of dramas, romances, comedies, science fiction, and anything else you can think of.

Community is a big component to the service. Fans help translate the subtitles into other languages, comment on the videos, and share the content with others. As they mention in the app’s description, contributing more allows you to unlock more content as a way of thanking particular community members for their work. Now users can download the app to their Android TV to access this content on more devices.

– Viki has now launched on Android TV! Sit back and enjoy your favorite Dramas & Movies on your TV.

How much does this cost? Viki has a monthly subscription service. For $5/month you have access to their content catalog. Users can get started with a 7 day free trial if they’re on the fence about getting started.

You can download the app from Google Play.
