Photo Screensaver Now Shows Off Facebook, Flickr, 500px Photos

Since August, the app Photo Screensaver has gone through a substantial update. While it used to only show photos from your Google Photos library, the app now supports a new of new services from which to display your photos. It still is designed to provide a great screensaver experience for your Android TV.

Now you can add your Facebook account. When you select that option, a dialog will appear asking you to log in with your phone and enter a code.

Other options include your Flickr account and 500px. After you confirm these options, you may have to wait a little bit for the photos to appear so you can select them. It took a few minutes to sync 500px photos. I couldn’t get Facebook photos to sync at all.

With 500px, there were a number of categories that I could choose. Everything else is the same. If you don’t like your photos, or don’t have too many you want to show off from Google Photos, this app now lets you select from some of the best around the web.

The app is free to download, although there is a premium IAP to enable more control over the photos that appear.
