Tidal Brings Lossless Streaming To Android TV

Today was just another quiet Wednesday until Tidal decided to tell Android TV and Apple TV users that they now can enjoy lossless audio on their devices. For those who are audiophiles or Tidal users (but aren’t those the same thing?) , but want to live in the 21st century. This is great news as previously you could only cast Tidal as there was no native app for Android TV users.

Tidal has launched its first TV apps today for the Apple TV and Android TV platforms, letting subscribers access both Tidal’s entire library of music along with video content like concerts, livestreams, and music videos directly on their TVs.

Now we have all the big music streaming services on Android TV minus Apple Music but I don’t see Apple changing that anytime soon. Finally Tidal is still missing on Android Auto support so hopefully we’ll see that next.
