My Cloud Radio Provides Soundcloud on Android TV

Soundcloud is like the YouTube for music. Anyone can create and publish their own tracks and create a following there. The platform also provides a podcasting service. For a website that has over 12 hours of audio uploaded every minute and 175 million monthly listeners, the goal is for listeners to access their favorite music everywhere, including Android TV.

Soundcloud has an Android app, but it doesn’t support TV. However, the creators of My Cloud Player now have a new app called My Cloud Radio for Soundcloud. It uses Soundcloud’s API to stream music directly from the platform while placing it within a leanback interface.

You can view the top stations and music or search for an artist. It will open up a playlist of songs that play sequentially.

Users can access personal favorites by signing in, although it doesn’t support OAuth login systems like through Google.

The app is free to download on Google Play.
