New Play Store Update Fixes Crashes

Two months ago a bug appeared in the Google Play Store on TVs, where selecting some categories would cause the entire app to crash. It was , and one that could lose consumer confidence as they turned on their new holiday gifts for the first time. You can see an example of the bug in our video below:

Finally, the app is fixed in a new update to version 7.5.08.M according to Android Police. It should be rolling out to all users soon, but you can get it now through . Hopefully the Play Store team will be more careful in the future with bugs like this. App selection in the Play Store is limited to a few categories and having one be unavailable makes the platform seem less polished.
