Poll Results – Do you own a Google Home?

For the past two months we’ve had this poll sitting on the site about Google Home, a new product by Google that allows users to ask questions and do actions just by voice. The features on the device are continuing to advance and the Google Assistant is coming to other devices like Android TV.

The Google Assistant is a way to make the search system more actionable across many devices. Google Home’s features overlap those of the Google Assistant tool on mobile and what we’ll expect on Android TV. Already we can cast content to our TVs by simply voice searching through Netflix or YouTube.

Do you own a Google Home? Here are the results from our straw poll, with 44 responses. From our query, 30% of respondents own one, and 70% do not. As these types of smart speakers continue to add features, they may become more valuable and commonplace. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
