Cartoon Network App adds Casting

Casting is a handy way for apps to quickly extend their content for the TV without the need for a native app. One of the new apps with Chromecast support is Cartoon Network, the app with a variety of on-demand shows. By logging in with your cable provider, you can access even more episodes and a larger catalog. The feature was added a week ago in version 3.6-20170510.

Chromecast! Yes, we’ve added one of the most requested features: the ability to stream Cartoon Network episodes from the app directly to your TV using Chromecast. Just plug in your Chromecast media streaming device, open the Cartoon Network app on your phone or tablet, and then tap the Cast button to see your favorite shows on the big screen. Be sure to send us your feedback so we can keep making the Cartoon Network app better and better!

The app is not available for Android TV as a native app, so support for cast will at least give you the cartoons on the big screen.

It is free to download on Google Play.
